Full Time Administrative Assistant

Bethesda is currently recruiting a Full Time Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support within our Children’s Programs. This position will work out of the offices located on Schmon Parkway, Thorold, Ontario, and may be required to work flexible hours and some minor travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative coordination of various process within assigned department
Provide appropriate general reception duties in a manner that is conducive to representing Bethesda in a positive light
Develop and facilitate various program related materials and documents
Assist with administration of various program related operations
Process all payments associated with assigned departments operations including, but not limited to any services for which payment is required, processes OHIP related payments, etc.
Maintain all assigned records, staff and/or individuals within service (paper and electronic records) while maintaining compliance with all internal policies and maintaining confidentiality
Develop various internal documents/spreadsheets based on departmental needs
Maintain an inventory enabling department to maintain seamless operations
Accurately process departmental payroll based on internal policies and procedures
All other duties as assigned

Education Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS College Diploma in Office Administration preferred Two to three years experience in an administrative role Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, Access and Outlook Experience with Dragon Naturally Speaking/dictation software is an asset Experience with electronic health records Experience with children/families with special needs is an asset
