Associate Clinical Supervisor

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Adult Clinical Services requires one (1) Full-Time Contract Associate Clinical Supervisor.  Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, the Associate Clinical Supervisor will support the  functional and administrative supervision of staff and the coordination of clinical supports, services and programs.  The Associate Clinical Supervisor serves as an ambassador for internal and external stakeholders and will employ a leadership methodology that supports our Mission, Vision and Values.

Key Job Responsibilities

Supervise clinical services and ensure documentation is in line with CPO standards of professional conduct as well as Bethesda policies and procedures.
Conduct assessments and identify treatment goals in collaboration with Behaviour Therapists and Behaviour Consultants.
Provide supervision hours to students and other staff collecting BCBA/CPO supervision hours
Receive supervision from Clinical Supervisors/Consultants that may be internal to Bethesda or external.
Supervise and support the development of Behaviour Support Plans that follow all QAM requirements.
Supervise and support the development of Positive Support and Prevention Strategies (PSPS) documents.
Supervise BSP/PSPS implementation, training and adherence procedures.
Provide clinical supervision for group based services.
Monitor and evaluate clinical treatment plans/Behaviour Support Plans/Positive Support and Prevention Strategies documents and update as necessary.
Provide training, coaching and support to Caregivers, Community Partners,  Team Members, and Students.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, and community partners.
Investigate ideas and plan the integration of engaging community activities into service options.
Provide Brief Clinical Consultation Services to community agencies as well as partners within Bethesda (i.e. Supported Living Managers).
Facilitate community connections, program registrations and referrals and share resources.
Supervise and/or participate in the development and delivery of behaviour analytic resources such as print materials, workshops and curriculum.
Maintain client records and complete documentation as required.
Complete Quality Assurance Measures/Tools.
Facilitates appropriate internal and community referrals.
Actively participate in team meetings and provide suggestions, creative ideas and recommendations for strengthening services
Actively participate in administrative team meetings.
Comply with Bethesda policies and procedures relating to health and safety.
Responsible for reporting all health and safety concerns immediately following the Internal Responsibility System.
Administrative tasks as required including documentation and resource development.
Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS University degree at the Master’s level in ABA, Psychology or other relevant program Board Certified Behaviour Analyst or Registered Behaviour Analyst required. Minimum of two years of experience in clinical position. Experience in program planning, development, and evaluation that supports individuals with complex special needs. Experience with data collection and analysis. Experience working within a multi disciplinary team. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Valid Driver’s License. First Aid Training and CPR Certification. Safety Care Certified Professional Communication Skills: professionally represents the company through strong communication skills, both oral and written. Teamwork: excels at working with others and communicating with a team to provide the most effective support to clients. Problem-Solving: able to navigate challenges and barriers, always looks for potential pitfalls and risks to help mitigate problems ahead of time, and knows when to ask for help. Proactive: anticipates and solves problems and issues before they are brought to your attention. Fluent in French is an asset
