Description of the role
Jordan Heights – NEW PROGRAM, located in Vineland, requires six (6) Full-Time Developmental Support Workers.
The role of the Full Time Developmental Support Worker is to assist individuals with social skills, behavioral supports, adaptive functioning, personal care, and facilitating independence. The successful candidates will possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Education Requirements
Education and experience appropriate for working with people with developmental disabilities is required. Current First Aid, CPR, and Safety Care certifications are also required. The successful candidate will provide support that enhances the clients’ quality of life. Interested applicants should be prepared to work with individuals whose lives are affected by behavioural and medical challenges. This position requires a responsible individual, able to function effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment and work with minimal supervision, and meet the physical demands of the work on the area. Satisfactory disciplinary and attendance records are required. French/English bilingualism is an asset.
