Description of the role
Brantwood Community Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our collaborative, diverse and dynamic team. We’re an accredited, non-profit organization providing supports for adults and transitional aged youth with developmental disabilities. Key Responsibilities:
•Provide behavioural supports based on the individualized needs of persons supported (i.e., mental, physical, spiritual, behavioural, emotional)
•Assisting with personal care (bathing, meal preparation, assisting with personal tasks etc.)
•Administering medications
•Assisting with the development of care plans and goal development
•Completing detailed documentation
•Implement and follow behaviour support plans

Education Requirements
•Post-secondary diploma/degree in developmental services, or human services diploma (i.e., PSW, SSW, CYW etc.), or a minimum of 3 years combination of education and direct experience •Valid Class G driver’s licence and an excellent driving record •Valid Emergency First Aid, CPR and AED Level A Certification
