Description of the role

Brantwood Community Services is an accredited, non-profit, community-based organization delivering high quality supports to transitional-aged youth and adults with a developmental disability. Our mission is to empower people of all abilities to have the life of their choosing. We provide supports from a person-centered perspective, which engages people in identifying their work, volunteer, and recreational interests and goals.

We are currently seeking Part-time Direct Support Professionals to provide support in areas related to daily living activities and social/recreational activities that promote inclusion in the community.

Other job responsibilities include assisting people with personal care, behavioural supports, medication administration, meal preparation and documentation. You must be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends. Scheduled hours may vary depending on the needs of the people supported.

Education Requirements
• Human Services Diploma (i.e. DSW, PSW, SSW, CYW, etc.) • Valid Class “G” driver’s license and an excellent driving record • Valid Emergency First Aid & Heart Saver CPR certification.

Base Salary
$20.83 CAD
