Embrun, Ontario

BONUS: Upon hire, you shall receive a one-time signing bonus of $500 on the first pay date after your employment commences. At three months of employment, you will receive an additional $750. At six months, you will receive an additional $1000. At 12 months of employment, you will receive a final bonus of $500.
DeafBlind Ontario Services also qualifies for the $3 Permanent Compensation Enhancement.

YOUR ROLE
• Foster independence through a holistic and person-centered approach of “do with, not for”;
• Connect the person with deafblindness to the world around them as a communication partner;
• Reinforce concepts and teach new skills to empower the people we support to thrive;
• Provide daily personal-care, such as lifts and transfers, toileting, hygiene, etc., as well as administer medication and maintain accurate records;
• Encourage each person supported to actively participate in their community, leading to a better sense of social connectedness.
