Cultivating Community Wellness Events and Webinars

Calm within Chaos: Dec 10th at 11:00am – Noon.  This virtual session hosted by the Real Xchange is leaders and DSPs. This interactive session offers quick and effective practices rooted in breath, movement, and reflection to help you regulate your own nervous system, reduce stress, and model sustainable well-being. Grounded in somatic science and lightly inspired by the four elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air), this workshop provides real-time relief and long-term tools.

The tools are practical, adaptable, and designed to be woven into your day in under 60 seconds – before a big meeting, after a hard conversation, or during a moment of overload. This is not another wellness trend. It’s a nervous system approach to leadership and well-being that’s embodied, actionable, and accessible to all.

Facilitating Effective Debriefing Learning Series: Delivered in partnership with CLH Developmental Support Services and Community Networks of Specialized Care- Central East

  • Dates: Tues, Feb 17: 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm

  • Tues, March 3: from 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm

This virtual learning series is geared towards supervisors and middle managers and limited to 40 participants.

Debriefing is an effective method that allows staff members to reflect upon their recent experiences in supporting persons with complex needs; openly discuss the facts and feelings about the event; and identify opportunities for improvement. The debriefing session is a powerful tool that enables a staff to do a check-in; explore healthy ways of dealing with the stress that results from a crisis intervention and develop skills to enhance the day to day supports for persons with high support and complex care needs. This education series will identify the importance of debriefing, the process, and how to facilitate an effective session with staff through a nonjudgmental restorative approach. Resources and tools will be provided in this three-part education series.
