Description of the role

Marketing Manager

Bethesda is currently recruiting for a Marketing Manager.  This management level position will be based in Thorold, Ontario.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this position will promote Bethesda supports and services.  The Marketing Manager will develop and execute marking campaigns while managing an inspiring team.  The Marketing Manager will be proficient with day-to-day marketing activities including digital marketing as well as the development of long-term strategic marketing campaigns, under tight deadlines, to support the organizations operations.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal departments to develop appropriate marketing campaigns that support operational objectives
Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure operational efficiencies are realized
Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration with a focus on operational programs
Develop processes to gather, analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
Help develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets
Foster an appropriate relationship with all media channles; utilize relationships to increase Bethesda’s market presence
Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, participate in events, document business processes
Attend and support operations at various Bethesda events including the communication of identified events with the public through various modes of communication
Manage the entire marketing cycle for all aspects of the Bethesda’s operations
Develop short term and long term marketing goals through a collaborative approach with all internal stakeholders
Attend events after hours and on weekends

Education Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field Minimum of two to three years’ experience managing a marketing team Proven success in developing marketing plans and campaigns Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity Knowledge of and experience with Adobe Creative Suite Proficient in social media marketing, Google Adwords and SEO Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools Established contacts in media
